The rainy shift

Ok this month started off with a much needed move,along with my work and personal stuff the whimsical garden made its way to a new location!!Its still work in progress as you can see :-)

I love the summers,everything looks so bright and lovely.Delicate dancing sunrays really light up the room like no artificial lighting can match!!

I love wind chimes,have been wanting to make a quirky relaxing sounding one!!Finally got down to it!!Love the soft sound the glass makes :-)

Beautiful breakage!

I love fish bowls,not with fish in them necessarily but love to use them as glass planters.Now im not the most careful person around and have had my share of broken fish bowls,but for once good luck was on my side and this particular fish bowl broke ever so beautifully!!Have a look THE BEAUTIFUL BREAKAGE and some of the other water plants i've grown in a fish bowl!

My lil green patch!!I love to garden,i love the greenery,i get super excited when the little seedling i've sown grown into a thriving plant that bears flowers and fruit.I also think garden is a really therapeutic and relaxing hobby.It can brighten up your home and make it come a alive in an array of colours!!

I live in Mumbai a claustrophobic,polluted,fast paced,bustling city,where we dont really have the luxury of massive lawns and gardens.Living in little matchbox houses we pay through the nose for the little space we call home.

Given the space constraints I've tried to create my own little piece of heaven

Recently i hit the sandy beaches of Goa for some good old RNR. Spent a whole day basking,well more like roasting in the sun,sipping on icy cold beer and scribbling away on my sketch pad.Nothing beats the sound of sea and the salty tingle of the sea breeze.Once i had my share of sketches and friendly chatter with the ever so friendly shack owner[who by the way lives a freaking wild life!!relaxed style]i decided to plonk my butt near a marooned boat and watch the sun set.

Feet nuzzled  in a warm and moist bed of soft sand,i saw some really quirky crab art.These little creatures in the attempt to carve a niche for themselves sure do sculpt pretty little works for art for the passerby.
